PATIENT SURVEYS & FEEDBACK
PATIENT SURVEY
Thank you to all those patients who have participated in the national survey over the past few years. The results of the 2009/2010 survey will be made available either through this website or a public access link to the official website. Just to confirm that this particular survey has now been withdrawn following the decision by the Government and Department of Health. There is no replacement but we, at the surgery, believe it is still relevant to get views, opinions and suggestions from as many of our patients as possible. This is an important way to improve the healthcare we provide.
As a starting point, we will be introducing the following:
PATIENT FEEDBACK
Look out for the HOW DID WE DO TODAY? forms which will shortly be available in the surgery’s Waiting Room. We intend to publish the results here and provide an update every month.
Alternately you can fill one in online HERE
PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP
We have joined forces with the PCT to support the re-introduction of this group which will be made up mainly of patients but also a small number of members of the surgery. It is hoped that the newly formed PPG will be in place early next year. Look out for more details coming soon.
SURGERY RESEARCH
We do produce a fair amount of research about the surgery and how it is performing. Some of this information is ‘patient sensitive’ and you will appreciate why this has to remain confidential. However, there are statistics which we can make available and we will be starting first with the steadily increasing problem of ‘DID NOT ATTEND’ appointments. The figures illustrate the number of patients who fail to turn up for an appointment and did not have the courtesy to tell us.

FEEDBACK FORM
How did we do today? We value your feedback!
Please let us know how we did today. Whether you had a great experience or if we let you down, your views are very important to us. So, please take a few moments to let us know how you feel about your visit to Summerhill Surgery.
