PRACTICE NURSE
Part-time
Our forward-looking
Nursing department has an exciting
opportunity for a part time Practice
Nurse to join our four-strong team.
Ideally, you will be experienced in
the following:
-
Previous work in General
Practice
-
Diabetes including insulin
titration
-
COPD including spirometry
-
Asthma
-
Medication management in chronic
disease
-
Childhood immunisations
-
Travel health
-
Dressings including compression
bandaging
-
Cervical cytology
-
Sexual health and contraception
Training can and will be provided
but we would ideally like candidates
to be competent in the majority of
the above, so enable them to
contribute from day one.
The hours available are 8 hours per
week, worked over one whole day on a
Tuesday, Wednesday or a Friday or
two four hours shifts split between
any two of these days. However,
there is an option for a further 8
hours to cover CDM in the community
and other areas of clinical need
in-house.
We offer a very competitive salary
depending upon qualifications and
experience.
You must be forward-thinking and
able to work independently and as
part of a team.
You will also require full NMC
registration and enhanced CRB check.
