Patients on long-term
medication may be given repeat
prescriptions using the computerised
request form. A tear-off slip with
items ticked that are required
should be sent or delivered to the
surgery. For patient safety,
requests for repeat prescriptions
cannot be taken over the telephone
or via fax.
Please allow 48 hours for your
prescription to be processed – this
does not include weekends or Bank
Holidays. If you have more than one
repeat prescription try and request
all of your items together.
Should you find difficulty in
bringing your request form to the
surgery there are various ways in
which we can help.
You can post your prescription
request to us and, if you let us
have a stamped addressed envelope,
we will post the prescription back
to you.
Alternatively, several of the local
pharmacies offer a collection
service, whereby they will collect
your prescription from us and
dispense your medication ready for
you to collect from the pharmacy.
