Advice/Consultation - GPs and Nurses
There may be times when you feel
that your concerns can be dealt with
by talking to the Doctor or Nurse on
the telephone.
During September 2006 we held a four
week trial offering Telephone
Advice/Consultation slots with the
duty doctor. These were of 5 minutes
duration.
To book one of these consultations
please telephone reception and the
duty
clinician will ring you back between
11.30 – 12.30 hours.
When you request an appointment you
may be asked if you would like a
Face-To-Face or a Telephone
consultation. The receptionist will
ask what your
call is about, to enable the
clinician to review your notes prior
to the call.
Please be prepared to leave a
telephone number so the GP or nurse
can ring you back.
We regret that, due to the costs
involved, in most instances we
cannot return
calls to mobile phones - please
leave a landline number. If you do
not have a
landline, you will be asked to call
the surgery.
